Baby Bailey

This past Wednesday we had another ultrasound!
I know it is hard to see on a scanned picture, but this is a profile of the baby. Head is at the right and spine at the bottom.
We got a total of 8 pictures! It was such a fun and moving experience. We do think the baby looks a little like ET right now, but I guess they all do :)
The baby is active and right now I (Abby) think it is going to be a boy. So far the majority of our nieces and nephews think a boy also; but that changes with each time you ask.

The Half Way Point!!

Well, we've made it! This past Tuesday marked the 20th week of pregnancy and the half-way mark! As you can see I am still getting bigger, but loving it. I can feel the baby move now and it is such a blessing.
I am sticking to bland foods, along with sweet foods like fruit and of course candy :) Besides the frequent use of the bathroom everything else is going well!

Oh Belly!

As requested by some of you, here is a picture of my ever growing belly. I am slowly having to switch my wardrobe over to maternity clothing, but enjoying the excuse to buy new clothes :)
I am 18 weeks now, almost half way done! It has gone so fast that I feel like we just found out. We have another doctors appointment this week and another ultrasound in two weeks.
We are not going to find out if it is a boy or girl (we are old school). I am however having fun looking at lots of cute baby clothes and bedding...etc
We will keep you more updated now that I am growing.

I don't feel so good....

.....oh Bernice. She did not feel so good last night (Sunday July 8th) after she ran into a moving truck. Yes, I said she ran into it. My dad was driving up the driveway and thought that he hit Bernice. He heard a loud thud and saw her run off into the woods. After searching for her and convincing her it was okay to come out (as her "mom" was panicking) we found that she didn't seem to have any broken bones or anything.

The extent of her damage is mainly on her head with a few cuts, scrapes and well gashes. She had a few on her side and one on her foot too.

After my dad (who felt so bad), got home and inspected the truck he saw that she left a mark on the passenger side door. He saw her running to the truck from behind and thinks she was going too fast and ran right into the truck! That would not surprise me.

We are still going to the vet today just to make sure everything is okay, but what a scare. I sure hope her car chasing days are over!

Dogs and Storms

This is a picture of a storm that went past us this week. We did not get too much out of it, but about 5-10 miles from us they had hail and wind damage! It was fun to watch is pass.

I had a little time on my hands and thought I would also get some pictures of the dogs.

This is one of my favorite pictures! Bernice is not always very photogenic :) I think her tongue is too big for her mouth.

Michelle and Steves wedding

This June we were able to attend 3 weddings! We had so much fun at all of them. So far (because Abby forgot the camera at the first two) we only have pictures from Michelle and Steve's wedding.

This was a gorgeous wedding! The first picture is of the Bride and Groom (their first dance).

The whole evening and wedding was very fun and we are so happy that we got to see so many friends that we don't get to see very often. It was good to talk to all of you and hope to see you again soon!

This is Cindy and Tom Nelson. Cindy and I were roommates and they now live in New Mexico (at least for a little while longer).

This is Philip and I with Kim Leonard who was also one of my roommates. She now lives in Duluth (and we are very jealous because we would love to live there too).

Michelle and Steve are off to Germany where Steve is stationed right now. He will be heading off to Iraq in August and they are both in our prayers!

Hannah

Here are a few pictures of our niece Hannah out at our farm.
She especially liked the trampoline!

Here she is with grandpa. This is her first time sitting on a tractor!
She is all set with her rain boots and cowgirl hat.
