Quick update

Just a quick update:

On Sunday (5/18) Elijah got his first tooth! It is the left bottom middle tooth. He is getting another one too that I can feel. I can't believe that he is old enough for teeth :)

He also went to the doctor for his 6 month check-up on Monday. He weighs in at 13 pounds 2 ounces. He is 23 1/4 inches long. Good news is that his body is catching up with his head :) His head is in the 3rd percentile (last time it was in the 7Th) and the rest of him does not register yet. The doctor said he is the size of a 4 month old....but is doing great considering the size he was when he was born!

Six Months Old

Elijah turned 6 months old today...we took a few photos this morning for the event :) He actually smiled for some of them!

What a big boy!

We can't believe that tomorrow Eli will be 6 months old! He has really changed a lot in the last few weeks. Not only is he eating cereal, he sits up in his high chair, plays in his exersaucer, rolls over, holds his own head very well and laughs and smiles a lot! We even think that he is working on getting his first tooth! We love the personality that he is getting. He is shy at first to new people but will warm up quick. He is making being a mommy very easy.

For mothers day Elijah did me a wonderful favor and slept through the night (he had been waking up in pain a lot lately) and slept until almost 7 am!! He took a nice long morning nap and was happy all day. What a wonderful baby boy I have.

Not much else is new, I have been planting flowers and got my garden planted last week. I was able to mow for the second time today. Soon I will be helping my dad and unlce in the fields.
Philip is getting busy with work. He went up north for fishing opener and had a great time...it was cold, but fun :)

This has taken a little while to get up so sorry :) Elijah started to eat cereal two weeks ago. He loves it! These are pictures from the first time we gave it to him.

Lots of Laughs

Here's a video of Elijah this past Saturday at Hannah and Caden's birthday party. Unlce Nate was really able to make him laugh. We have never heard him laugh this much!
